Sadhu board, nail board, nail standing: is it the same thing?
Yes. "Sadhu board" is the traditional name from India, "nail board" the everyday name, and "nail standing" is the practice of standing on it. OMBO is my brand.
Can the nails hurt my feet?
In normal use, no: they're all the same height and spread to carry your weight without piercing the skin. They are still points: close the board after use, don't jump on it and step off gently.
Who is the OMBO board for?
Beginners. The 8 mm spacing is intense but manageable alone. If you already practise and want more intensity, write to me about a more advanced model.
Who shouldn't practise?
Not recommended with foot wounds, epilepsy, pregnancy, diabetes, circulatory or neurological conditions, or during your period. Not for children. If in doubt, ask your doctor. The board is a wellbeing tool, not a medical device.
How long and how often?
Allow 4 to 6 minutes to get through the intense phase; after that, one minute is enough on busy days. Regularity brings the most, but now and then beats never.
What will I feel?
The first minutes are often surprising. Breathe, stay a little: the sensation usually changes on its own. Everyone has their own pace.
Should I wear socks?
At first, if you like. Many people go barefoot once they're used to it.
What are the boards made of?
First-grade water-repellent alder and birch plywood: several pressed layers of wood that stay stable over time. The nails are galvanised and set at the same height.
Is each board unique?
Yes. Each board is assembled by hand, one at a time. The wood has its own variations in tone and grain. Some photos and videos show a board with a tree engraving: your pair comes without engraving.
Do I pay now?
Yes, by card when you order, through Stripe (secure payment). I then confirm the shipping time by message.
How long does delivery take and what does it cost?
A few days to 3 weeks depending on stock. Relay-point delivery in France is free; home delivery costs €9.90 more.
Do you ship outside France?
Yes, within Europe. Write to me at contact@ombo-board.com for a payment link.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days after delivery to withdraw. The board must come back clean, intact and unused; return shipping is at your cost. Write to me to arrange the return. Full terms (in French) in the CGV.
How does a session with Ann work?
We start with a free 15-minute call. The session lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, online or in Nice, for €70. All about sessions.
Can I give a board or a session as a gift?
Yes! Write to me at contact@ombo-board.com for a gift card or the €159 board + session bundle.
